Ludwig in the classroom?

Ludwig can be used individually in the classroom. For a time-saving use in the classroom, Ludwig offers the possibility to jump directly to certain sections of the game.

Pupils can play Ludwig both at home or at school. The saved states of plays are synchronised online. So you can always start playing again exactly where the game was last saved, regardless of the computer used.

Accompanying material

For teachers, there is accompanying material such as teaching outlines and didactic concepts with different levels of complexity and time required. The worksheets, experiments and, generally more advanced materials on renewable energy can be integrated into lesson planning. In the classroom pupils gain the opportunity to understand and deepen the knowledge they have learned at play.

Research

The development of Ludwig was accompanied by the research project “Research on motivational aspects and knowledge transfer in digital educational games for children aged 10 to 14 years” and supported by Sparkling Science. A number of schools throughout Austria took part in the project. The feedback from the test schools and the findings of the accompanying research flowed and flow regularly into the further development of the game.
