Ludwig goes Steam
5. September 2012 | NewsAdd your commentSteam Greenlight is a new system that enlists the community's help in picking some of the next games to be released on Steam. Developers post information, screenshots, and videos for their game and seek a critical mass of community support in order to get selected for distribution. Steam Greenlight also helps developers get feedback from potential customers and start creating an active community around their game as early in the development process as they like.
Today we joined the Steam Greenlight community and were overwhelmed by the positive and encouraging feedback we got so far.

Ludwig has been picked from Greenlit Gaming - a website dedicated to give selected games on Steam Greenlight the needed visibility for the community voting. We think that´s a fantastic idea and we are happy and proud to be part of the show!

A tutorial introduces the main control concepts of Ludwig. - The brand new themeworld "Wind Energy" finally is available in english language too.
- The scanradius of the Antenn-O-Tronic is rendered in the 3D gameworld.
- New soundeffects have been implemented.
- The powerline minigame dragmode has been redesigned. Simply drag a line while holding the left mousebutton.
- Numerous small bugs have been fixed.

The easiest way of updating Ludwig to version 0.4 is to follow these three steps:
- Deinstall Ludwig completely from your computer.
- Download (http://www.playludwig.com/en/download) and install the game.
- Choose among the included standard savegames or start a new game.
We made several changes "under the hood" of Ludwig. Here are the most important changes:- All gamedata is now downloaded and stored in the installation directory of Ludwig (default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ludwig).
- The new Ludwig Launcher (version 1.6) fixes some connectivity problems and provides a connection- and systemtest (in case you have any problems).
- The new savegame system makes all old savegames invalid. But don´t panic! We included a huge number of savegames you can choose from. Every main quest in the game has it´s own savegame.
